CNPq CNPq is the Brazilian Federal Research Agency. Its mission is to fund public and private R&D activities on Science and Technology in the country. CNPq awards fellowship research grants in all areas of human knowledge. CNPq and NSF (USA) jointly fund the LSC project DASP, a collaborative research effort between UNICAMP, Princeton University and MIT.   SBMicro The Brazilian Society of Microelectronics (SBMicro) is an entity that brings researchers, teachers, professionals and students interested in the area of microelectronics with the objective to promote this science and technology sector through activities at the federal, state and municipal, technical-scientific events, information materials and training, scientific and political meetings, and others.   FINEP The mission of the Funding of Studies and Projects (FINEP) is to promote and finance innovation and scientific and technological research in companies, universities, technological institutes, research centers and other public or private institutions, mobilizing financial resources and integrating tools for economic and social development of the country.   CAPES Is a research agency of the Brazilian Ministry of Education. Its mission is to design public policies for the country strategical research activities. To achieve that it provides a number of funding mechanisms for graduate training and inter-institutional research projects. CAPES funds LSC through the project Design Methodologies for Embedded Systems.
